Hi all,
Planning to get 2 x 24" monitor for work (high refresh rate is nice).
Will be connected to a dock (USB-C or Surface dock).
Which one should I get? Budget is below $300 each.
Thank you.

One 32 inch feels like a tv, let alone two of them in front of you. 27 x 2 are nice.
Agree.
I have 2x 27's at home and I find that works well for me.
Then again I have 2x24 and 1x27 at work… works for me too :)
Couldnt fit 2x 32s on my desk at home :( and work wont divvy up for 32s'
I would love 2x 27 but I dont have much space unfortunately. My desk is only 120cm wide on the corner of the room.
I saw my friend setup in same width desk in the corner, and he struggled to properly put his second 27" monitor side by side.. one is slightly behind to accommodate the space..
When hybroid suggests 1 x 32” because it can fit two A4 docs side by side, and everyone else replies omg cant fit 2 monitors
Dell often have deals going on here that fit the bill.. check for dell deals.. go 2 x27 if you can..
I'd go 2 x 27 inchs rather than 1 x 32 inch. When I am at the office, I use a 34" ultrawide and its pretty frustrating, I'd much two separate screens.
I went from 24s to 27s and they are great. Much better and I scored some Dell Monitors 4K, got 3 for $1100.
Just my personal preference.
27 or 32 inch at 1440p is much better then 24 inch at 1080. Much more screen real estate
Or one of each , which is which I have
hmmm… I just moved to 2x27 at work last week, I may still be getting used to it, but I feel a little overwhelmed by screens in my face. I have a single 43" at home and the verdict is still out as to which I prefer - I think screen size and number is a very personal choice. Other thing to consider is the mounting type - I have a dual mount which handles both screens at work - I'm thinking 2x separate mounts may be more practical
Likewise. I moved from 38" to 2 x 27" and I really don't like it.
The extra width on the 27"s is mostly unused. So you end up either sitting in between two screens and staring at a bezel, or in front of one screen and not using the other one's width much.
38" was ideal, you mostly use 2 x 1920x1600, and can still expand those wide spreadsheets to use the whole screen when you need to.
I'm waiting for 38 to go on sale and then will return my 27s.
How can you just return used monitors? Or do you mean to your workplace?
Yes back to workplace
A larger screen would surely be more benefit to you than high refresh rate for work purposes?
32" is the sweet spot for 2 side-by-side full size documents.
