    Feels a bit that way. I think I’m going to bite the bullet and get the X8.

    Even with these eufy devices I’m pretty sure the X8 & X8 hybrid are the 2021 models, and the 2022 models are the LR30 & LR30 hybrid.

    The LR30 (non-hybrid) doesn’t seem to be released in AU, and the hybrid models are exclusive to JB Hi-Fi.
    The downside of the LR30 models is that they have smaller capacity dust bins (even smaller again on the hybrids to have room for mopping stuff).
    To mitigate this in the US they sell them with auto-empty stations, but haven’t released those here in AU.

    Mygenie have some cheaper options but not sure how good they are ..also they don't mention suction power in most of their items

  I recently got the G30 Hybrid from Costco for about $320. Haven't used the mopping function yet but the vacuum function is really good.

    This does not seem to have lidar function though? I heard with lidar sensor, it performs better - unless that's just a marketing gimmicky thing
