Did you try mopubi10 on the Ultra? Doesn't work for me.

Edit: Used VIPPERKS10 and that worked.

I only tested the code for the Pro 3 and assumed it would work for all. I'll update the post with that code. Thanks for the heads up.

Heads up, While this is google wear… Google assistant does not work on it. and TicWatch have been consistent in not giving a shit about it.

Otherwise not a bad watch with a decent battery life. the dual screen concept is clever.

    • Yes, Google Assistant don't work though I think it's Google's fault? Anywayz, the problem suppose to go away once the upgrade to WearOS 3.0 gets underway.

Other than that and battery life could've been a bit more better, lovin' the watch that I wear it day and night all the time.

      • I think that's more an "if it gets upgraded to Wear OS 3". I can't see google (being google) being bothered to update current watches even if up to spec especially with new chipsets and watches around the corner (after all they haven't bothered to fix Wear OS for like 2 years)

      • There's no concrete promise from Mobvoi that they will push a Wear OS 3 update to these. Google have said they'll be "eligible" and there's a few vague/poorly-translated suggestions from Mobvoi, but no statement, never mind a date.

Worth noting that Assistant kinda works, but you have to set your phone language to EN-US (and so put up with some things being in imperial measurements, phone numbers shown in US format etc) and it doesn't work to call or text anyone.

But the good news is that Google fixed those problems in Wear OS 3 (at least for Mont Blanc's watch)! Yep, in typical Google fashion they fixed those bugs by just removing Assistant. Nice work Google. They've basically abandoned Wear OS 2, leaving all the critical bugs in place.

Oh, and they disabled the compass, Maps is no longer compatible and Strava support is gone now.

It should be noted that the galaxy watch 4/5 have fully functioning google assistant.

@gadget: Ah yes. Indeed! But other limitations with their heavily-customised UI.

    • Is this a well known problem? I mean I couldn't find any information about it other than this thread here. I ordered the Ticwatch Pro 3 recently, but haven't received it yet, so this news worries me a bit. What are the things specifically it can't do? Control any home automation, ask questions, set reminders? What is the behaviour if you try to do these things? Does this apply to all the Ticwatch models or even other Android Wear watches? Anyway surely it not working is reason enough to return the whole thing, considering it is being advertised as one of the main functions.

      • Wear OS 2 issues across the line. Can't make phone calls and send text messages are the biggest ones.

  • I have the original 2019 Pro and while it's a little slow (well known issue), it's my fav smart out of the few I have. Battery life is fantastic & works quite well.
