The use case is quite different to the link you posted, but there are a lot of options at similar price point or cheaper than the posted deal.
Going by the number of 3D printer deals on here, I think that there are many here that could be interested. I'm more on the metal/woodworking side of things, but these are still useful for some of the stuff I do.
Threaded inserts are super handy with functional 3D prints.
