  It is just ok not like other slicers in which you can change the thickness.I dont recommend this only due to this reason.

    i don't need to change the thickness, so could be ok for me. How is the build and the size? So far i've used the cheap metallic ones from kmart, so looking for an upgrade in quality

    The point of buying Oxo is its well made and will last a long time, so less landfill than equivalent kmart brands genius.
