  • So this particular one is powered by USB-C right, not AC?

    • +1

Correct. Since it's a USB-C to USB-C cable with a USB-C to USB-A adaptor you can power it via a normal USB port or a USB-C port. Much more flexible than a DC port that's for sure.

  • Cheers, just what I needed! Gotta get a longer cable though as the 0.5m too short when my desk lifts up

  • Mate nice find. 1-4-me, thank you!

  • Thanks, didn't realise I needed one until I saw your post.

The single USB-A port on the front my case doesn't like powered devices (to lazy to figure out why), so this would 'solve' the issue by plugging in the hub to the USB-C Port on the back of the motherboard.

    • USB power in the BIOS probably.

    • +1

100% most desktops have this issue as the front usb slots are designed for low powered things like usb sticks and mice keybaords. The back ports have more power. But are in the back

      • Yellow usb port is also for power.

  • Thanks for the post, good find.

  • Any good 1m/1.5m USB 3.2 10gbps type C to C cables on Aliexpress?

  • will this work in my Tesla?

  • Just be careful buying stuff from AliExpress - as buyer your warranty only 90days, I had purchase phone charger that the led no longer working after 5 months. No warranty after 90 days.

    • I think warranty's done as soon as you pass the 15 days after receipt..

  • arghh. shame ali express wont allow paypal. Im not trusting them with my CC details.

    • They've accepted PayPal for years.

      • I stand completely corrected. I was looking in the wrong spot. I found it thanks
Also got an additional discount of 5.70A$ for orders over 7.13A$ for a total of 19.95A$ discount.

  • Good PortHub

  • Smooth touch, visual feast! Wow

  • Just received my order today, just a little over a week to deliver.

    • All my recent orders have been the same. Quite impressive for China.

    • Update: plugged it in for the first time today, annoyingly the Blue Power LED bleeds through the first USB Port and is always on (even when computer shut down)
