  • I have the T2 earbud, bought last year. Seems pretty good, no issues so far.

    • do you get a lot of background noise when calling? I bought these fo rmy partner, and she says that other people hear a LOT of background noise, so if she is talking, the other end can hear a TV in the background or the kids playing, even when they are a few meters away

I don't have the T2 yet but make sure activate ANC

Hold L to switch between Transparency mode, ANC on, and ANC off

        • Thanks, thought ANC was only to block outside noise for the wearer of the headphones, but will give this a try!

          • +1

@pichxlonco: There are 3 modes and it sounds like your partner either has ANC off, or in Pass Through mode, which enables external listening without removing the earbuds. (also called ambient mode etc).

Hold L for 2 seconds each time to cycle through:

Normal mode (better battery life, with some passive sound isolation)

Pass Through (to hear surroundings, ambient mode)

ANC On (actively suppress external noise)

            • @nismo: Just test my T2 today, ANC ON with earbuds connected to Samsung A73, playing some youtube traffic noise on computer and it did filter out some noise but as soon as I make a call, the traffic noise all gone into the earbuds and quite loud but playing youtube music seems fine, only happened to call.

Not sure why only happened to call, seem the mic pickup all the noise?

              • @superforever: They suggested not to use ANC during call

"Please reset assure that the T2 model supports dual-mic call noise reduction which will turns on automatically when you are making a call.
And while you are not making a call, you can turns on the ANC mode to suppress noise."

No, I didn't hear any complaints from others on the line, and my usage was in a rather noisy office environment.

        I gave you a + vote because it’s Wednesday.

        • I have you a + cos China is gonna stop invading Ukraine

  • Has anyone used these on a motorbike? Keen to cut out some drone, but a lot of ANC causes MORE noise, because the environment is unpredictable.
Usually the ones that try to block less, are more effective.
Every other soundpeats product I have is amazing, so hopefully they have these right too.

Hello, yes, have used these extensively while riding.
Mostly low speed with an open-face helmet, wind+anc is not an issue < 40km/h
Hot tip! I pop the front domes of the cheek pads so they stick out against my face a little bit and block the wind from hitting the anc mic perfectly up to ~70km/h.
When I'm wearing a full-face (from ALDI) for highway rides I use a neckwarmer tucked up into the helmet to block the wind and it's a really good listening experience with anc.
Happy to answer any Qs, T2s are by far the best of any earphones I've rode with and they're currently still on sale just not as good

      • Absolute legend. Thank you!

I need to find a solution to 'neck noise' myself; the rest of my helmet (Airoh Rides) is brilliant and silent; but the neck buffeting is like a low pitched whip crack for hours on end ><

I usually wear some 16db concert earplugs; and they work well. But I'd love to get some music, and blocking happening.

  • How does T2 compare woth mini pro? There are too many versions to choose from, I am confused 🥺

    • I have a great deal of respect for this guy's reviews:
      https://www.scarbir.com/tws/soundpeats-t2-review?rq=soundpea…
      https://www.scarbir.com/tws/soundpeats-mini-pro-review

The Air3 review is also on there but no ANC.

      • no anc in the review or on the phones?

        • T2 and Mini Pro have ANC
Air3 (original version) doesn't have ANC.

However Air3 Pro (not discussed in this thread) does have ANC.
          Confused yet? :P

          • @cuteseal: The seller suggested me don't turn on ANC for phone call (T2), is that the case? I always thought ANC is for phone call?

            • @superforever: I think you might be confused about two different technologies.

ANC is only for for listening to music. It cancels outside sounds so you hear more of the music.

CVC is supposed to help isolate your voice when making calls. I think this is just marketing - most wireless headphones claim to use this but almost all of them suffer from background noise. That’s what you pay big bucks for as the better ones like AirPods manage to do it more effectively than others.

Edit: actually that might be true - I’ve read reports of calls sounding better when ANC is switched off.

Thanks, I am so confused, I thought the ANC on Mini Pro or T2 they are good for phone calls because of ANC and Air3 doesn't have ANC that is why it is not god for phone calls.

                • @superforever: Nope ANC doesn’t help for phone calls, just for music listening.

                  • @cuteseal: My TaoTronics 85 with ANC didn't pick up that many noise like the T2, may be because of it is overhead headphone, seal better.

When I said pick up noise I mean I could hear the surround noise myself, not the other party.

  • air3 showing $45 for me. How can I get the $40 price?
