The release RRP was $660, then increased by Lego to $700.
Good discount for those who may want to purchase now.
I'm hanging out for $500 or lower by years end.

$600 for a bunch of plastic bricks that assembled make a crap looking model car.
$600. A bargain?
I love Lego, but it's pretty wild to think you can buy a PS5 for the same price a a collection of plastic bricks. I definitely don't buy as much as I used to.
Car looks great imho. Not $600 great, but still pretty great.
Yep. Lego must have some great marketing people working for them if they can convince adults this is a good purchase to make.
A full set of GMK keyboard key caps (inc all the extras) would set you back around $500. So plastic piece for piece, it actually makes Lego more value lol
Yeh! And that is just for key caps! The rest of the keyboard will set you back up to $1k or more! People have multiple keyboards and key caps. Hobby's are for enjoyment though, as long as there is enjoyment who cares right??
Tell me about it. I hate to know how much I have spent on keyboards and keycaps. I always end up buying a spare PCB and extra plates and badges too. From what I've noticed, seems like the market is getting saturated and second hand market is dropping a bit. Wonder if the same will happen with Lego
Prices are getting ridiculous I must say.
How about this one for $1099😏?
LEGO Star Wars at-at Creative Building Kit; Cool Star Wars Battle of Hoth Collectible for Display 75313
I still need to get the Lambo
Need?
Yer I collect them
I did. This set has put me off. No more. It's taking the piss by $200 of RRP
You don’t need it, you want it.
@PainToad: Both
Hope LEGO releases a Technic build for the Ferrari F40.
I’ve collected every technics Ferrari but this price is ridiculous. I do want but no way at this price.
$700 sticker price IS quite steep.
My guess is Lego thinks "We've normalized paying $400+ for a supercar.. let's bump that upto $600+"
And unless it's significantly better the experience is getting monotonous. I've built the previous 3 supercars and by the time I hit the Lambo, the process too felt monotonous. On the contrary the F1 car felt like a newer experience.
I think the suspension setup is different but pretty much the same build experience. Engine, drivetrain, chassis, body, roof, etc.
now showing $567.98 as of 12.58pm 23 Aug.
I'm hanging out for $500 or lower by years end.
