Was able to secure one ticket to the TI11 Finals this year in Singapore? Wondering if anyone else was able to get a ticket as well and what are their plans for travel/accommodation?
I'd be keen to que together at an internet cafe over there when not at the venue. None of my mates were able to secure a ticket so I guess I will hang with the Ozb community :D
i loved dota and dota 2 back in the day but the community is toxic af these days
it was always toxic, that's a given with PvP games.
you have to learn to ignore it or fire back, and not take it personally. muting teammates is bad in a team game that requires communication, it's just the risk you take playing with randoms.

I found the event pretty good value, paid almost the same for TI7 in Seattle and over the two weeks, I was at the stadium from 9am to 8pm every day.
Just a ton of games to watch and events to check out, I was overloaded with dota.
it was an extremely lucky trip for me though.
i stayed next door to all the players so i got to fanboy a bit in the morning and the evenings.
i pretty much won all my bets.
they also told me to connect my steam account to my entry pass which I did. went home and won 2 nice special edition skins which sold for $250 each.
sad thing was I didn't get to see much of USA, 10 days of dota and 4 days of sightseeing only.

Also, I didn't know that we can connect our steam account with the badges. Would be good to get an attendance pin
@ar7ist: purely coincidence, i just picked a hotel deal off expedia that's within walking distance to the stadium. the 4 star hotel next to mine housed all the players haha
I got a card with instructions to connect my steam. you have to tap the pass to get in and out of the stadium. as long as you are in, you get to win prizes like special edition skins. also had a gift bag with figurines, water bottle, badge and other trinkets.
