  • Thanks. Down to last 2 rolls. Bought 5.

  • +2

I wish I had space for 5 packs lol

  • Are these as good as Tuffy? Or is handy any good?

    • +4
      • Might have to give Coles brand a try based on this article

    • +1

Tuffy has plummeted in quality, and I say this as a Tuffy fanboy. The Tuffy rolls we have at the moment delaminate into two separate plies.

I think Quilton has replaced Tuffy as the best kitchen paper. Nothing was as good as old Tuffy though.

      • +2

        Doesn't Quilton make Tuffy?

  • +3

I brought some Viva from Costco, much prefer the Kirkland (Costco) brand but they are out of stock.

    • Same. Less plastic on this one, and cheaper (I think).

  • +1

Am i the only person who loves 'select a size'?

    • +6

      I prefer them too!

    • Can't stand them.

  • +17

Why is this a deal? Look at camelcamelcamel! Highest price in camel history! I have bought it for $22 in January minus 10% s&s and even paid more than I wanted compared to previous prices.

    • +1

This is the new everyday price… Quilton 45 pack toilet paper also went up around the same time earlier this year but that continues to get upvoted massively with not a single neg every time it comes back in stock lol.

      I agree this isn’t a deal though.

      • I believe it will get cheaper again eventually. I also still have stock from January, so I will sit it out and buy home brand stuff until this is cheaper again.

OzBargain has some form of advertising relationship with Amazon, so i'm always suspicious of posts about Amazon products where the product is it's normal price or higher than normal.

You can turn off the outright Amazon spam that Ozbargain is transparent about, but when the posts are made by apparently normal users, you can't.
Also for some reason 58 people think this is a bargain, so who am I to criticize

      • I agree, there's some really iffy behaviour the mods/staff need to address

        • Why not report to a mod then, see what happens.

  • +4

This will always be a deal to those people in rural areas that have a crappy IGA where two rolls costs $6, but agree it’s the usual price on Amazon

  • Ping me when we back in stock fam

    • back in stock again

      • Thanks!

  • I bought it again, but they keep blocking my toilet

  • Back in stock

  • In stock, just ordered them.

  • Good price but haven’t finished my last stock up….decision…

  • +6

    Normal price. Not a deal!

  • Everyone is price gouging in the name of "inflationary pressures".

  • -7

$24 dollar today is worth more than $24 back in Jan this year because of inflation.

    • +7

Lol that’s not how inflation works

    • its actually the other way around, your $24 is worth less than in jam this year because you can buy less of the same item. To make it simple with $10 in jan you could buy 10 sheets of toilet paper, but because of inflation in august $10 can only buy you 9 sheets :(

to make it still simple but a bit longer, its because the total value of the amount of cash circulating is bigger than the total value of goods produced. so less people want your cash because its easier to come by, so prices for your physical items go up. How to remedy this and decrease circulating tax? govt increases taxes and slows down production of cash (through interest rates).

How is this a deal? Why the upvotes?

  • +1

Quiltons 24 pack is $25 and I find them pretty good. This doesn't seem like too great of a deal 🤔

    • -1

      Quilton is toilet paper

This is paper towel, and it's double roll size.

  • +2

Quilton Absorba Paper Towel Rolls, Pack of 24 https://amzn.asia/d/fRvqB2Z looks like paper towel to me

    • hmmm not bad, might try that next time

    • 60 sheets per roll these are double length 120 sheets so this is better.

      • 12 pack vs 24 pack.. so same number of 'sheets'. just depends which is better quality

        • Slightly cheaper on these they are both good plus you will have to store more rolls.

  • +4

More expensive than usual price ! Don’t understand this deal. Not a deal !

  • +1

Why is this upvoted, camelcamelcamel proves no bargain….this is happening an awful lot with Amazon products - inflation isnt an excuse or reason why it can be considered a bargain for the norm price for this product

  • Thanks for sharing

  • I bought it at this price a couple of weeks ago, it's not a deal I'm pretty sure this is the Norman price

  • Buy them all like with the toilet paper and then next time the ‘deal’ will be $25.

  • It is interesting. I went to buy then realised as others have the price just isn't that sharp. I do wonder if any of it is being driven by the push to regional/rural where, as others have said, this type of product delivered becomes very appealing.

  • $1.67 per 100 sheets. Same price as Woolies, Coles, everywhere else, etc.

  • I only upvoted to about the neg voters lol 😂

  • Now it's $16.

    • Sold by a new Amazon Seller (ePAK Store 02), which just launched, with feedback yet.

    $14.40 via SS now!

  • Hey fam, 12pack double size is back fulfilled by Amazon with S&S for $21.60
