Cleaning - Electric Brush/Scrubber Recommendations

Electric brushes sound like a good idea but I'm not sure which one to get.

There's a whole bunch on Amazon with various brand names like this but I'm not going to give it a go if I can't find replacement heads.

Also saw Ryobi's scrubbers at Bunnings but it's quite pricy when you don't already have a battery pack and charger.

Anyone have any recommendations? Looking for good torque, availability of replacement heads and ideally a (detachable) telescopic handle.

  • Can you use a drill if you already own one?
I bought a set like this from Aliexpress it works for me.

    • I actually considered buying a drill just for this use case and having it handy for actual drilling in the future. But a telescopic handle is a feature that's difficult to pass up on.

      • You can buy hex extension drill bits that will give the scrubber a bit more length, you could attach a few of these together.
They look like this. You can get them cheaper.

I'd say a drill is probably the best bet as you won't get a scrubber with as much power as a drill for the same price. Plus the drill you can control the power you need.
On the down side it's probably heavier than a dedicated scrubber.

  • I am using a cheap cordless drill with wire brush set like this and plastic ones like this. No telescopic handle option though.

  • I use the Ryobi drill scrubbers that just connect to my impact or hammer drill. Same as the product listed above by trex.
The Actual Ryobi scrubbing tools look good and have positive reviews but I would think it would only be worth it if you needed them to be water resistant since the battery compartment is sealed.

  • this is on sale at Aldi next Wednesday. Might be crap but you can return it easily if you don't like it
