(Solved) Scammed out for Annual Kayo access on OzBargain

Hi, Just would like to share my story and wanted to make other OzBargain users aware of dealing with the user nrodg11 for any transaction. This user(nrodg11) advertised back on 25th April 22 to share annual kayo access for $90. (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/696430). I went ahead transferred the full $90 funds to the guy.

It was all good till 25th July 22 that I couldn't access live content on Kayo anymore as the user nrodg11 didn't renew the subscription. I messaged him countless time in the last week or so but the user ignores them even though he is online several times in a day.

Anyways I thought I would name and shame (mod: name calling) and avoid other users from loosing money when dealing with him. If you need more information about this user please let me know.

  • Is there a way I can setup getting notifcations for messages? I hadn't received these messages until I manually checked them. Only received a notification for being pinged in the comments of this thread.

      Basically the equivalent of going to a company's social media account on Facebook or Twitter and complaining about a previous order.

    Sharing access to services has had a number of posts over the years and in some cases end like this. Buyer beware…

    • Yes but have sorted out asap as soon as I was aware. Had only used the service to watch one episode of F1 and had stopped using it and didn't notice payment had been rejected until I got pinged in this thread. No intention to scam. My fault for not setting up my auto payments correctly and I sincerely apologise for the inconvenience I have caused.
