Other retailers are selling at $200+ so this seems like a good price for a mid-range B660M board. Virtually a B660M-A Pro but with beefier heatsinks and an integrated I/O shield, minus one HDMI and one DisplayPort (still one of each).

  12th Gen Intel CPUs are overpriced though and Intel are never backwards compatible

    There's still use cases for them though. I personally went Intel as I am building a media server and QuickSync is a must.

      A 5600G would be better value imo
      Intel are great if you like setting your money on fire
      Resale is alway good so go for it
      Just dont expect an easy upgrade path

        5600G doesn't have QuickSync.

        Not really, 5600G, you are looking at PCIe gen 3 at best. Also, AM4 is on its last leg. AM5 to be announced in days (early next week).

        That said, I am not sure on a media server with intel 12th gen. Seems like an expensive toy or an excuse to get 12th gen.
