  Lightning is the worst connector, I have broken my USB-C to Lightning adapter by dropping ipad on the bed while watching youtube, fortunately the broken piece hadn't stuck inside of the ipad.
  One of the worst decisions I have taken is to buy an ipad instead of an used surface or other windows tablet.

  PS: This rant is nothing to do with the deal!

    Sorry to hear that. Newer iPads come with USB-C ports though I believe all connectors could break under duress like falling from a certain height

      it was just 10 cm but at an angle (adapter was not an apple one as well, got from amazon) :D
      I bought this ipad 9 from previous deal couple of months back for $465, but later I have found used surface 3/4 (i5-6300U / i5-7300U) with pen in $200 range :( time to return my OzB membership
