As I understand it, we don't have more giveaways as compared to the US or Europe - I think it's just a matter of knowing where to find them, as most other countries don't have a place like this.
@eepykate: You are probably right. I'm new to this kind of thing. Although I assumed it was kind of a tradition given this great site and Gear Seekers (and others from Australia). Unfortunately http://gleamlist.com doesn't work anymore … I could create it for UE.
