Grab a bargain and possibly some salmonella on these nitrite-rich delicatessen products.
Things I saw for 60% off at Woolworths Eastwood NSW (no idea if this is at other stores), price per kilogram:
Bertocchi Sopressa Salami $14 was $35 save $21
Jarlsberg Cheese$10.30 was $25.75 save $15.45
Dorsogna Maple Glaze Streaky Bacon $6.80 was $17 save $10.20
Inghams turkey breast Oven Roa Sliced $11.20 was $28 save $16.80
Dorsogna Premium Ham Off Bone sliced/shaved $12.60 was $31.50 save $18.90
There were others that were 60% off but don't have time to write them down (still in the store). No dea on expiry date, photo attached

    The store was waiting for the centre redevelopment (DA lodged twice and still no timeline for demolition) so was not included in refurbishment plans. That's why it is stuck in the 90s décor. Woolies might close the store altogether as it doesn't get much foot traffic.

        I was raised in Eastwood, but moved in 1988. I remember the old shopping centre with Target, Eastwood Hi-Fi - now in Dural of all places. Brings back memories of Eastwood Primary School and old Jack the bus driver that went to Ryde, when the busses were privately run. Still to this day, I remember the upstairs toilet, with some graffiti which read " This toilet is so cheap that we ask you to use both sides of the toilet paper".

    Honestly this is the biggest appeal of Woolworths Eastwood.
    There used to be a Coles with the red circle logo around but I think it got revamped.
