For those that signed up to Spotify Philippines back in the day before they made it impossible, have you had any luck adding new members to your plan recently? I've tried using a VPN as well as GPS spoofing on my phone and haven't been able to add new members.
They've implemented a measure that checks for addresses when inviting family members. GPS spoofing and VPN to PH isn't able to bypass it. I'm currently paying $5.50/m

forgot "my" address so couldn't add family members was ~$5.45/month
January 2021 downgraded to single user ~$3.75/month (slight variation due to exchange rate)
what makes it impossible now? have tidal hi-fi plus as backup argentina ~$1.65/month

oh i understand now, thought it wanted the same philippines address i signed up with and that's why it rejected it
Has anybody found a work around? tried copy pasting the address I used. still not able to add a new family member.
No workarounds unfortunately. I had to get my cousin from the Philippines to add accounts for me
Why is it impossible now? Does it detect VPNs? How much does it cost via The Philippines?
