Contemplating getting a half rack from GymDirect. I live in a regional town.

During height of COVID round 1 lockdown was terrible - but that’s the case for every mob . They were okay the 2nd and third time i dealt with them. They use direct freight which is one of the quickest and reasonable rates delivery
Ymmv but sometimes you can get a better price on their eBay
Bought cable attachments from them. Seem like a decent store but before you buy new equipment search around on market place/gumtree . lots of people selling their lockdown gyms.
I managed to get a 800 dollar commercial grade gym bike for 20 bucks.
Yep ordered a few bars and free weights recently. Just be prepared for a half dozen follow up “review” emails afterwards.
Bought liquid chalk and 0.5kg plates. Not a bad experience.
Bought a bunch of stuff from them and experience has been pretty good.
Bought a bench from them, pickup from the store.
Also got one of their half racks from gumtree at a good price.Construction is on the cheaper side, welds are a bit rough and the steel sections are thinner than you would expect. But I've had the equipment for 6ish years and it gets the job done.
Also the "load tests" they do on some of their equipment are an absolute joke. Static loading and not even at the point where bending moment would be highest. It's also done by a metallurgist not an engineer? So that may explain it.
