Genuine apple cases on AliExpress? Can you please provide links
they're not marked as genuine, but just as good as. Same factories, same quality. Have one for me 12 and it's the same as any I've seen instore. You're only paying for the branded boxes.
Same 2 years replacement warranty?
@onlinepred: Does it really matter, would you ever need it? If you're really looking for a bargain, and look after your tech, a case doesn't need replacement.
@DanasaurusRAWR: Well yes, as cases get worn as they are what you touch and grab every day for years, I have had my Apple case replaced towards the end of the 2 years because it barely started to peel on a corner.
Also I can't find any on aliexpress that have the same appearance, can you please link to the ones that are exactly the same quality and from the same factory?
@onlinepred: That’s definitely not in line with what I have experienced at Chaddy apple store. My wife’s leather case, which she bought from them a year ago started peeling off in several places and they just showed her their apple cases which were in worse conditions and brushed her off by claiming normal wear and tear. I then showed them my two silicon cases, one bought from them and one from Officeworks, both of which had corners missing pieces. They educated me on the spot by saying that apple only use best food grade silicon for your safety and again edges peeling off were just normal wear and tear. They also told me that apple only offer one year warranty for accessories directly purchased from apple store, which, unlike warranty for phones or macs, didn’t cover any accessory bought from third parties or issues caused by customers’s daily use.
@snowbeauty: Ouch, yea Australian Consumer Rights is great hey. Sounds like you got a grumpy customer service person. Apple's warranties are very strict on saying they are separate to the consumer rights.
Next time ask to speak to the manager, or send a complaint direct to Apple.
My wife had her plastic one replaced after 1.5 years of use too with the smallest of issue. I bought from Apple though on discounts/gift cards.

This must be why Apple can get away with charging what it does for its products.

@DanasaurusRAWR: Mmmmm reviews seem great, plastic crack, hard plastic case not real leather or fake leather, slippery, no felt inside. Mmmmmmmm $16 seems accurate. Definitely not from the same factory or even looks the same.
@onlinepred: It's strange, because mine does have felt in it, and the cases have a plastic inner anyway… Why the hate on finding a cheaper product/loyalty to a soul sucking company?
