Yep, wondering what app does it use
is it compatible with Google home?
All details here
Love some of the text there, like "The camera rotate downward when the master comes home by tapping on the APP."

Can this be use as a baby monitoring camera ?
You surely can. I used to buy cheap cameras to do the same but there was once a news about cheap Chinese cameras on their on apps got hacked hard with strangers talking to kids randomly so I switched to more reputable companies. Not saying that it won’t be hacked but at least… peace of mind!
That same story has been around for many different brands of camera - including Ring. Generally it comes down to users not setting secure passwords.
Wow, i only use this for my new born baby and hopefully nothing like that will happen.
I didn't want to spend $300 on a Cubo ai baby monitor cam.Just be sure that your home network is secure, and you set a secure password for the camera. Sure, there is a chance there might be a backdoor somewhere, but if that were the case then the reports of hacking would be much more prevalent. For intermittent security issues on consumer products you can normally assume user error.
@macrocephalic: Thanks. I ll do that when i set it up
What other brands/companies do you recommend then?
Is this Tuya app compatible?
Doesn't seem to support RSTP. Some of their other models do.
No PoE - Uses Power: DC 9V=1A What a pain!
Only does 2.4GHz WiFi. I have found this to be a problem with there not being enough spectrum. That is competition from neighbours plus your devices.
Wait what? No Ethernet socket!Ok clearly this built to a price and with major limitations as a result.
Seems good, Im interested.
But some of these cameras record video in encoded mp4 . If the video file is encoded then you cant download the file to your computer and play it or send the file to security or police etc. You can only playback the video file on the device and you cant fast forward etc.
Does anyone who has one of these know if you can plyback the files on your computer?
ThanksCan definitely copy onto computer and plays back no problem at all.
These tenda be good
Anyone have one of these
