I received, and I assume a lot of you did too, an email from velocity on the 27/7 at 2:54pm, stating ‘a new offer is on the way to you’ and to ‘get ready to boost your points balance’.
No follow up emails yet, I’m wondering if anyone works at virgin/velocity and may have intel on what this deal will be? I’m really hoping it’s an Amex points transfer bonus as I have a heap to transfer and a card I need to cancel soon!

didn't receive the email, but I did see a Virgin points ad on the weekend. It said that if you fly Virgin for business, both you (as the individual) and the business will get the points. Disclaimer: I don't know anything about Virgin points

*Bonus Velocity Points
To transfer Membership Rewards points to Velocity Points you must be enrolled in Membership Rewards Ascent, Gateway, Premium Ascent, Business Ascent, Corporate Ascent or David Jones Membership Rewards program (this offer excludes American Express New Zealand Card Members) and be a member of Velocity Frequent Flyer. To receive 25% bonus Velocity Points, Velocity members must transfer a minimum of 2,000 Membership Rewards points (1,998 Membership Rewards points for Business Ascent) from the American Express Membership Rewards Program to Velocity into Velocity Points in one transaction between 12:01am (AEST) 01 August 2022 and 11:59pm (AEST) 15 August 2022 (Promotion Period). A Card Member must be a Velocity member and can redeem this bonus Points offer multiple times throughout the Promotion Period.
A minimum of 2,000 Membership Rewards points, (1,998 Membership Rewards points for Business Ascent) must be redeemed for Velocity Points at any one time and must be in increments of 2 Membership Rewards points (3 Membership Rewards for Business Ascent) during the Promotion Period and must be in whole numbers. Once the Membership Rewards points have been redeemed for Velocity Points, they are governed by the Velocity membership Terms and Conditions and cannot be reversed. Transferred Velocity Points will take up to 1 business day to be available in your Velocity account. Bonus Velocity Points will be administered by Velocity Frequent Flyer which may also take up to 6 weeks to transfer into your Velocity Membership account. Bonus Velocity Points are calculated on the total number of Membership Rewards points transferred to the Velocity account (as converted to Velocity Points) in accordance with the offer.
