A couple of years ago I was able to find some great sales but since then - no luck.
Don't really want to spend $30 for a pair of Swiftwicks… Any good deals anywhere?
Thanks

Thanks, look just like generic rebranded aliexpress socks. There are a number of "Australian" brands like that.
Ordered some dhb socks from wiggle, decent.
Certain ones are cheaper than others same
https://www.wiggle.com.au/dhb-sock I bought these ones a couple of years ago… They are lasting, but not very comfy. Overall, good value of course.
My husband like these Kathmandu ones: https://www.kathmandu.com.au/mens/footwear/socks/accion-drim…

How are cycling socks different from socks? (I'll bet, that I'll regret asking, so "asking for a friend".)
Good quality synthetic fabrics, mate. Moisture wicking and quick drying. A little bit compressive as well. They are really high techy for a sock.
I got these ones from Decathlon for $15 and they go alright - https://decathlon.com.au/products/900-road-sport-cycling-soc…
Yeah thanks I wanted them but delivery kills the deal, so bought GribGrabs SL for around $12 a pair.
A little update;
Zeffz are REALLY good.
I've been using them for more than a year (they have not worn-out).

Are they thin summer socks? How do they compare to GribGrab or any other brands?
Very comfortable in the summer. Good in cold weather but shoe/toe covers keep the chill out when the temperature drops.
I happily wear them in any season {with those extras in the winter}.
I keep seeing Zeffz advertised for cycling ones. Usually 4 pairs for $36, never had any so can't comment myself but reviews seem fairly positive.
