Environmentally friendly, which makes John West, the best!

  • What is the blue plasticky looking cover for? Can it be removed?

  • So is it a street watch it a divers watch..?

    Definitely not Knights Watch

  • Are these diver's watches any good for skinny wrists?

    • Watch Case Diameter: 46mm

      Depends how skinny we're talking.

For what I'd define as skinny i wouldnt recommend..

      • +1

Sometimes 46mm might not wear really large. The CasiOaks are like 45mm and wear smaller than the numbers suggest.

    • Lug to lug is only 46mm so less likely to "overhang" the wrist. The look is definitely chunky so that's up to your personal preference.

    • i have skinny wrists and the tunas wear nicely. very short lug to lug

    • A lot of this watch's diameter is created by the shroud, which can be removed and it still looks good.

    • Agree, this one actually look smaller than it is, with the short lug to lug and dark blue ;)
Picked one up too, $20 off with popup/signup.

Good having a grab and go quartz solar option. Will sell a green G-Shock GA2100 that gets no wrist time to make room.

  • Can't find anything about the warranty on this site. Anyone know what the warranty is on this?

      • Thank you kind sir

Got it $209 with $20 voucher discount. The watch face is way more small than expected. It is smaller than My Huweii Watch GT3 ( 46mm ) . Good built quality , night luminous ok. Good value for $.

    • Did yours arrive already?

Is watch Depot okay? Why so much cheaper than Shiels? I previously bought from Starbuy and received a display watch..

Tried finding reviews of watch Depot and couldn't find squat. Even the link at the bottom of their email to Facebook was a dead link:

Mine is shipping today, even got a welcome/registration email from Seiko confirming my purchase details and warranty. Seiko has them listed (watch depot) as an official stockist (https://www.seikowatches.com/au-en/stores/onlinestore), here's the deets if you need to do more homework:

        Sold By:
        Transworld Enterprises Pty Ltd

          Same here.
I even contacted them with concerns and they said they don't give display items without consent.

          Thanks! Look forward to it.
Not sure how to check the charge level apart from if it gets low.

          Enjoy!

          • @Exprise: AFAIK there is no real way to check the battery, however I do know that if the level gets low the second hand will tick at 2 second intervals to conserve power until you charge it up.

  • Hmmmm. I bought the green one from starbuy and it was made in japan. This one in blue I've just received is cased in china with 'movement in Japan'

Green serial number is 9900xx from a year ago
Blue serial number is 9744xx from just now.

So not sure what's the deal?

Quality wise seems exactly the same, assume all components are made in China anyway and they are just assembled in Japan for my original green one.

    • what's the model number of the green tuna?

      • Green V157-0DD0
        Blue V157-0DC0

  • Got my blue tuna the other day - pretty good for the price
Definitely not worth $675.00 though, haha
3h charge in the sun should keep it powered for 6-12 months :)
