Has no Fitbit Pay and it's stuck on American time/date. Ew…

No wonder it can be had so cheaply already.

    • +1

Nope, it has Fitbit Pay. And, of course, it is not “stuck” on US time or date

      • Was just going off the reviews. I did just wake up however, didn't see the "UK banks" bit. That's rough. Still, the reviews don't paint a pretty picture.

        • +3

Yup I own this version and can confirm these are not issues.

Problems with Fitbit that once you have warranty issues, they won't entertain you if it is not bought within Aus. I had always issues with Fitbit after using it exactly into a year.

I reckoned I will wait for local promo.

100% with you. My Charge 4 broke twice during its manufacturer warranty period. Lucky I bought it from JB and replacement / refund was nice and easy.

I have used there warranty service quite a few times without issue. They usually try and debug and just send me a replacement.

Often I sell that replacement as a way to buy the latest version. So it's been working for me quite well.

and you bought them from amazon uk as well ?

    • That being said, if you buy locally, their warranty is amazing. I had a Versa a while ago where there was a slight rattle in the charger but everything still worked fine. They just sent me a whole new one after I opened up a warranty claim. I was pretty stoked.

    • But this is from amazon au ?

  • +1

reading reviews on google and here, many many and many having to claim warranty with fitbit on their products — issue with the bands, or the watch itself.

but yet still many people buying this brand?

  • can this measure blood pressure ?

    answer: no

    • What activity trackers can accurately measure blood pressure?

I have moved away from Fitbit as I've never had a good support from them.. My Charge4 bought from Amazon failed 3 times during warranty period. All times get sent the watch bit as replacement without the band (looks refurblished) , hence couldn't resell.

Next, my Ionic (bought from Amazon) screen went black just a month over warranty period. Fitbit doesnt entertain me. I had it in a drawer and the recall came about. Cannot get a refund from recall as it requires a code from the watch.

    • What activity tracker do you use?

Thanks for sharing, it seems to be a good deal.

My Fitbit ionic exploded and got the money back. Then I spent the money on buying lettuce but that is a different story.

    • My Fitbit ionic exploded

      Are you ok?

      • +2

Don't have where to wear watches anymore, but I am ok. Thanks for asking.

  • i'm not getting the extra 20% off. I've added these items. Am i doing something wrong?

  • +3

Don't do it - have owned a Charge 2, 3, and 4, and each one broke not long after warranty. Even though I read the reviews and endless threads on Fitbit Forums, I kept thinking "it won't happen to me this time".

But it did, and I'm just an idiot who contributed three smartwatches to landfill.

Oh, and now I have a Garmin Forerunner 245 Music and it's great.
