I purchased an Anker 65W PIQ 3.0 PPS Fast Charger(Support PD), PowerPort III Pod, but have now noticed in the fine print it doesn't support Samsung's PD 2.0, which means, I assume, that I can't get the fastest speed output for the tablet? I have just purchased a Baseus 100W 5A cable, as I heard that the one that ships with the tablet is only rated 3A, and therefore will not be the fastest speed…is this correct? I also heard it can take a while for a non Samsung charger to show on the front of the tablet or s22Ultra etc, the correct speed it is charging at….i.e. might show a lower figure and fast charging and then after a while show the super fast charging 2.0? I tried with the cable I had on hand from Samsung on both a Belkin 25W boost charger and the new Anker one, but when both plugged in they both had the same charging time displaying, but I didn't leave in the cable very long and also don't have the new 5A cable yet. Do I need to get a different charger to get the optimal speed, or should the Anker one do the trick with the new cable? I can return the Anker and get a different charger if that is what is needed. I noticed that some people are giving bad reviews of the Samsung 45W charger…and it is hard to find ones from other brands in Australia.
Samsung Tab S8 best charger other than Samsung brand

Samsung Galaxy phones use PPS 5A 9V for the Super Fast Charging 2.0 as far as I know, and I don't think the charger you're buying supports that - refer to this post and this page with charging specs that lists "a single USB PD PPS mode with a variable voltage between 3.3V and 21V with up to 3.25A of current".
However, I wouldn't worry about getting the highest charging speed honestly - many reviews and posts found that the speed difference between 25W Super Fast Charging and 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 is negligible (<10mins difference for a full charge for an S22 Ultra or Tab S8) because Samsung is pretty conservative with battery management and heating.
yes, I have decided to return the charger, as it doesn't support PD 2.0. so, essentially is the same as the 25W PPS charger I have now and getting another one of those instead (already ordered a few weeks ago through TGG using concierge $20 credit and 10% off….but waiting for it to come in atm), so I will have a couple here for my s22, and Tabs8. In the meantime, once I receive the 100W 5A cable (which cost me only around $6 for a Baseus one), I will be in a position to use that in the future when Australia get some better quality super fast chargers in that support (at the very least) PD2.0 and PPS, min 45W. Even speaking to the tech guys at Anker, they didn't know too much about all this, but when I explained it, in the end he agreed the charger I got wouldn't do the job I bought it for. Unfortunately, Australia doesn't seem to get the newer, better tech items (with AU plugs) for a long time. Even Samsung has a newer model 45W charger that is marginally better than their old one, but most are still selling the older model here (prob until they sell all their old stock)
I wouldn't be too fussed as both support power delivery. You can download apps such as Ampere to check the charging rate and compare.
