Telstra to pay $2.2 million in refunds, fines from billing errors
Following me chasing Telstra for an overpayment at the end of my contract for the last few months (somehow magically they couldn't connect to process a refund and would promise it would be done 24-24 hours) I had been Googling about refund issues and saw this article (in addition to similar problem in 2018) and was wondering if anyone actually received anything as a result or even contacted about the expectation to receive a refund.
*I have managed to have my refund processed today and have lodged a formal Telstra complaint about my issue. I'm sure it will go nowhere but at least I did something.
I got a cheque mailed to my old address for an account I closed just this year. Lucky I still have mail redirect or they might have pocketed it themselves.
