Found a gift card exchange for the standard tenner OzBargainers love, its kind of like the swap cards you find on SB/CW. Now there is a limit of $500 and i did test it for an amazon swap of $220 and the rest is stored in a wallet. Seems legit

I would like some more reputable OP, theres things called sockpuppeting. No offence.
I just did it and it worked fine on a $10 card. Once I purchased the exchange gift card, it added a $10 credit to my account.
Then I went and added a $10 amazon gift card to cart and ordered using the credits, and the gift card was instantly delivered into my wallet, I activated it and it worked on Amazon.
A bit different to what I originally commented, instead of having the exchange card outstanding to swap, instead it just saves the credit into your account to use on further gift card purchases.

I have signed up, paid and $500 credit now on my account which can be exchanged. I received the same code when signing up.
Signed up, paid $450 for the $500 credit, which was then exchanged for $500 Amazon GC.
If I'm understanding you correctly, were you able to add $500 credit to your account (and pay $450 for it) without having any card in your cart ?
What was the method you followed for doing that ?
The only option I can appear to find is to first add an Amazon GC to my cart & then if I try to apply the MEGA-DISCOUNT-10 voucher code, I get the "voucher disabled" error message?

Just a tip I just bought the $500 gift card at 10% off for $450 and received $500 credit in my account.
Then I used the $500 credit to buy the Amazon gift card with a 5% discount code: FIRST-ORDER-5
Total discount 15%.

I had $500 and $1000 in My cart, entered code and showing $150 off. Couldn't check out as ANZ fraud blocked the transaction. Deal got expired, ANZ fraud team called me to unblock. I managed to checkout and used the 5% code mentioned above, got $1579 Amazon for $1350, redeemed to Amazon Account. All up 14.5% off. Great deal, thanks OP. In hindsight should have tried larger amount.
