Well, I have teenagers and I must keep the cupboard stocked with 'grazing' food. This is a win for us. Cheers mate.
Honestly can't detect any difference between these and cheaper ALDI beans.
Silly question - how do these compare (nutritionally and taste) to the home brand versions which are cheaper?
Aldi is also cheaper too.Not silly - however IMHO not a huge difference. We go through a lot of the Coles 425g 3 packs at $2.50 per pack - or just under $2 per kilo.
The Heinz 3 packs come to around $4.44 per kilo…
tried coles, wattie ………,heinz are the best …..pick it in a blind taste test ……
What a time to be alive. Baked beans delivered to our front door for less than 20 cents a day. As a kid i couldn't have foreseen it to this level of glorious madness.
May be these are the golden good old days which we will refer to in the far future.
Am I the only one that doesn't buy Heinz Beans anymore?
The clever change in can sizes has deprived me of the 440 gram can that was just right for me.
I don't see how two people are supposed to share 300 grams of beans, and 550 grams for one person is just preposterous
I rang heinz when they dropped the 440G to inform them of my displeasure "so now can is smaller and costs more" …..they didnt talk about price BUT seems reason was they claim, that 440g was more than one portion, but people were eating the lot and it was their part to healthy eating and portion control easier ……300gm is a single portion they claimed for a person ……. so they have bigger ones for sharing , and smaller ones for who knows …….the 440g on special for $1 was king ….. still have some 440g in the garage …..
Sounds like bullshit doesn't it? We're supposed to be eating 5 serves of fruit and veg a day so smaller portions is counter to that.
It will have been some bored Product Manager assigned to beans who was looking to make a name for themselves by changing a century old one-pound can design.
Heinz for 2 or 3? 1.5 cans each?
I brought a few of these a month or so ago from amazon they were $3.00 for the 3 pack
Did you post it here?
