i've accidentally done it sometimes, never had a problem but regularly might block your access

I've never used VPN but I can still claim points from US region after changing my Xbox location to US. (I did all these on Xbox). Can someone clarify on this?

You can effectively double your points, but you may get blocked.
Why not just redeem 3 months live for 15,000 twice then get game pass trial for $1 giving you 6 months gane pass for less than half the points?
I don't think you can add that to an existing subscription can you? I'm currently good until Apr 2024
Can't do that on an active subscription, but you can redeem 3 months gold to 50 days of gpu. It's a better conversion ratio than getting the gamepass reward.
i havent once converted my points yet, i think i read on here something about the Xbox live Gold deal the best one to get and to convert it to XBGP, is that no longer an option?

How long/hard is it to get that many points?
I have about 450k points atm, its about 2-3 years worth. Its easy work you can do anywhere, even on the toilet. But its definitely tiresome to keep the streaks going for the bonus points. Especially the 3 achievements on the Xbox every few weeks. I will try put towards a console most likely and then will probably give it up because I'm a bit over it.

@id: The ABS browser extension makes it pretty quick and easy. Just a few clicks toward the streaks, the daily searches are automated for desktop/mobile.
I've only been at it for a year or so, sitting at 130K points currently. I still forget and miss streaks (generally on weekends) mainly just do this on work days.
Got to weight up if the time spent doing it is worth the reward.
@dojomojo: Its not really worth it to be honest. Sure it'll be great to cash in and get $500 worth of credit towards something but there's so many easier ways to make $500
I don’t understand why people neg deals because they have been around for ages… other people can repost stuff every 6 months and it gets hundreds of upvotes.
Its probably a combination of factors, one of which i would think is there is a lot more junk posted on here as "bargains / deals" than there used to be when the site first started. Which also means a lot more time consuming trying to go through every single item posted on here that claims to be a Bargain for OZ. Gets even worse if you dont know much about that item or its past prices so then it means having to do a lot of research etc because sometimes junk that are the RRP / standard price gets posted on here as some form of special bargain deal when its not. And some people vote positive on everything they come across whether or not its an actual deal or even if they are able to get that deal…

i use auto bing search extensions and have multiple profiles and trigger them every morning.. i used to have 5 (now down to 3) but MS caught on my other profiles and blocked them coz i got greedy and tried to cash in the points all at once.
Yeah, I was banned from earning Microsoft Rewards points after using a VPN. It lasted about one or two years.
How do you use the VPN? I thought they closed the loophole where you could earn points from each country.

Log in to https://rewards.microsoft.com/
Then use Bing for searches and follow daily search tasks as well. There are three per day which lead on to quizzes/searches, and completing them every day earns streaks with additional points. You get a number of points for searches on desktop, and an additional set for mobile (although there are browser extensions to spoof mobile from desktop etc).
You also earn points for buying from microsoft (movies, etc). And get points somehow for gaming on Xbox (nothing for PC gaming however so I've never gotten points that way).
Awesome news I just noticed is that Microsoft have now included EA Play as part of the PC Game Pass (it was originally Ultimate only which made no sense to me).
If you are a PC only player there isn't any real advantage to Ultimate. We don't need to pay for Gold/Multiplayer on PC so all you really get on the PC (so ignoring tablet/phone as well) is in game content and partner offers.
I have 3 accounts going… 1 I use to buy games with when on special (also auto redeems for $5 every month for cheaper points) second one I'll keep earning and then convert to gold then game pass when my game pass expires. and 3rd account Ill buy another Xbox with from MS direct.
If you can redeem points direct with MS for better value.
They also send bonus emails with extra points in them, you have to open and click
I've been farming on 2 accounts for the last 6 months. Redeemed all the points into Amazon credit and purchased sunglasses for MTB riding a week ago. Time to start again :)

I'm asking here as this is the latest deal for rewards.
Has anyone else's rewards changed in the edge browser and now bing searches are earning rewards? I've just earnt 150 point from mobile and PC bing searches the same way other countries do without needing a vpn. Also showed in my Xbox too.
I'm in NZ not oz but hopefully this might be the start of being able to earn a few more rewards and cover my gamepass costs indefinitely.
You should expect less because this is a new addition, last time was rewards that had been there for ages.
