  • Has anyone been using expensive shampoo feel the difference to the brands from supermarket? Thanks

    • +1

I have been using it and it’s great. Love the fact that it’s 2-1 including conditioner which means reduced shower time 😊

      • Yes. 2 in 1 is definitely a good idea. I used American Crew 2 in 1 shampoo previously which was good. But I didn't notice too much difference comparing to the supermarket brands.

Waiting for someone to create a 7 in 1, in addition to shampoo and conditioner, I can also wash my car, dog, windows, laundry, and dishes.

Then I can just buy one big bottle for the house.

    • +1

Yes. I feel more money (used) on my hair.

    • Explain difference?
      - treatment of dandruff?
      - leaving your locks soft and fluffy?
      - scented like a potpourri bowl?

FYI, I use nizoral to treat dandruff every 2nd or 3rd wash (worked virtually instantly vs the H&S I used for the 18months beforehand)….and use a 2 in 1 just as "normal" shampoo to stretch out the Nizoral as it's pretty exxy (but effective).

I wonder why "Hair Retain" line got killed by Head & Shoulders. It is no longer available for sale at Coles/Woolies and is sold by a 3rd party store on Amazon.

I asked a hairdressing teacher of many years regarding head & shoulders. They're good and do the job while you use them, however once you stop using it your dandruff is likely to return worse.

    • +1

      likely to return worse.

Experienced this. Need to do a proper head & shoulders detox…

        Try sulfur soap.

        • Ouuu might give this a crack. Cheers

          • @100KK: Be ware there are many different brand of sulfur soap, and many call themselves Shanghai sulfur soap, and there's only one with Shanghai trademark.

        This is the way

      • YES

      • And the alternative 'Sebizole Shampoo 2% 200ml' is much cheaper at $16.99.

Only shampoo and conditioner? As a man's man, to reduce clutter, I need hair, conditioner, soap, car, dish and carpet wash all in one package. Bonus points for stain remover/laundry detergent.

    • So… just soap.

Wake up, America. While we busy ourselves debating Wall Street, immigration, healthcare and gun control, Big Soap is walking all over us. We go through life thinking we need one soap for our hands, one for our body, one for our face, our hair, our clothes, our dishes, our apartment. But why? Are they really that different from each other?

      • +3

I love big soaps and I cannot lie

  • What’s the downside of signing up to S&S then immediately cancelling?
