All Complete Skateboards & Roller Skates $50 Delivered @ Conveyer Brands

931

Inline and quad roller skates and skateboards all $50, orders of $50 or more qualify for free shipping - double checked myself.

Fifty bucks to get into a new hobby, not bad in my opinion. I got a board and missus got a pair of skates. There are some less impressive clothing deals on too.

Its expensive when you fall so consider adding knee pads and wrist guard.

    • Only $50 to break your ankle!? Bargain!!

  • +2

No longboards (for all the old folk like me)

    • Old and young ones can also use long board to dance on. :)

Keep checking. Last time the models on sale changed frequently.

      • +3

Worth noting that "last time" is still going - it's the same sale - but you're right, they had been adding new items every now and then including some longboards and cruisers.

Though at this point it looks like most of the really good stuff has already been cleared out as the number of listings is steadily shrinking and new boards haven't appeared very often for a while now.

The last new addition I saw was a cheaper Dusters cruiser like this one which is definitely still pretty sweet for $50 but not quite the crazy deal some of the more expensive longboards were.

    • Really regret not grabbing one when this deal first popped up. Seen one on there since but me being a picky bugger let it slide….now regret that too!

can't tell if sizes are in us or uk
    no return or exchange policy

    hmm…

    • +2

Available in sizes 1-11 (EU 32-42).(rollers)
Seems the inline ones not stating what sizes they are

      • +3

And no refund if you bought the wrong size!

    • +2

      +1
      Very silly.

    • Yeah this is total B.S. - they just lost my business.

There is a size chart, which says they recommend to pick your EU size! Yet the sizes are clearly not EU as they in the 1-12 range whereas EU goes up into the 40s.
It just doesn't say what size type it is… then there is all this rubbish about "change of mind".
The wrong size isn't change of mind, that's them not making their sizing right and communicating it clearly. Especially if they fail to say if their sizes are in UK or US.

I wanted this, but it's a no, not throwing $50 down the drain for something that is useless to me when it could be a fair offer like free exchange in 30 days, pay for return postage

  • +1

Inline skates (blades) also $50. Might actually pick up a pair.

  • +1

Are the skates any good? Looked for a review and found this: https://www.reddit.com/r/rollerblading/comments/rx6fr9/had_t…

    • +1

The completes board should be ok - from well known brands, you could just buy the complete for the board and dont use the trucks and wheels if you already have some. If you are thinking of buying for someone that already skates, make sure you know the size they currently use.

    • +1

thanks for that ! this is mad wear out in just a week - probably best to stay away from this brand then..

  • +9

i am way too fat and old to be using a skateboard these days - but i've always wanted to own an Almost deck, ever since i first saw Rodney doing his wonky caspers, dark slides and all other gravity defying madness he used to throw out there. Now i can reminisce and watch THPS2 clips and those old grainy Rodders videos from way back.
Excellent find OP and thanks for sharing!

    • +2

I get dizzy just watching Mullen. Didn't stop me grabbing one last time…

    • +8

Lose some weight, old is only in the head mate 😀😉
I’m 56 this year, did the above and thinking of doing stuff i didn’t do in my 20’s…
Your a long time dead .

      All the best…

  • feedback about quality please

    • +3

the almost deck i bought from the last deal posted was made in China. basic components overall but still heaps better than anything you'd buy at kmart or non-skate shops.

      • +2

This, much better than Kmart / decathlon stuff

    • +1

Read some reviews on Darkstar conplete boards and i bought one for my son based on what I read. You can always upgrade the trucks, wheels, bearings later on.

Any roller skates for the boys?

  • Why no ice skates?

    • +1

reputable ice skates are only made by a handful of brands, with the lowest starting at about $250 for both hockey and figure. for $50 you'd only really be getting the rental type ones. it's definitely worth grabbing a reputable pair or second hand if you really want to get into it

      • $250 the lowest starting price sounds nuts

        • yeah ice sports aren't cheap.

        • i've got an old pair of hockey skates if you're the right size ;)

  • -7

Website looks like a scam to me.

    • Based on?

      • +1

Clearly I was wrong! But I thought it was because all the prices were the same and I've been tricked by another site doing a similar thing. I'm glad to be wrong.

    • about us
Pretty sure they shipped my 2 boards from previous deal from port Melbourne VIC

    • Purchased an Enjoi skateboard the first time this deal was posted & came though without issues.

  • I remember Vision skateboards.

  • +1

    only size 4 & 5 's in stock..

  • +1

    deal was previously shared here

bought 2 completes and they were flawless

  • thanks op was looking for a new deck!

  • Want to bury but the size too small

    • Damn, what did the company do to you?

  • +3

If you're buying a complete deck. Look at the Almost setup. They come with Tensor trucks which are usually $80 on there own.
Great find, I just don't need another setup.

  • I couldn't find much info about the Elroy inline skates. One Reddit review showed the wheels to be very soft (i.e not durable). They lasted a week apparently

Probably best not to purchase to save the landfill

  • The inline skates don't have breaks?

    • Breaking is cheating

      • Guess Im not getting these, can't do T-stop to save my life

        • T-stop is probably the reason for the review mentioned here

For $50 can always buy for the boots and replace the wheels. But if you absolutely need the break then not. I just can't stand a break. Don't need a break ice skating:-)

        • +3

just start with t-pushes. and slowly get used to the foot position required for the t-stop. used to hate t-stops but our hockey coach made us do them allllll the way across the rink. found it also improved my hockey stop.

  • Turns out i'm over the 100kg weight limit >_<

    • its fine, it hold up. im also over 100kg and i do ollies without it cracking. i went crazy last time and ended up buying 2 resin enjoi and a resin global.

If you want to buy a pair of proper roller skates or rollerblades, I'd recommend to go to a proper skate shop, such as Bayside Blades (Mel), SkaterHQ (Syd), etc.

    • +1

nah, can't beat $50 with free shipping.

  • last time this was posted i ended up buying 5 boards. no regrets

  • Thanks, I didn't realise I needed blades until now! :)

  • If you want to get into blading / skating, $50 can get you second hand skates from a reputable brand… That would be my personal recommendation.

Yep I'm a skater girl and don't think you should get sucked in by this

    • -1

Dunno why you're getting downvoted. I agree with you. $50 skates only really get you novelty baseline skates for basic forward skating

      • I mean the rollerskates not the skateboards

    • A skater girl would recognise that they are selling reputable brands that have been making skateboards for a fair while, sure they are not the tippity top brands that everyone aspires for at the moment, but that changes with the trends. They are more than suitable for someone taking up a new hobby with the added bonus of warranty + shipped to your front door + brand new, in my humble opinion at least.. Back when I was into skating zoo york, blind and element were all pretty much the brand faces for the skate scene.

      • she's talking about rollerblades/skates, not skateboards

        • -2

“If you want to get into blading / skating”

          Sounds like both to me.

          • @doobey1231: i've never heard a skateboarder refer to their skateboard as "skates"

also, most of the skateboards being sold are reputable skateboard companies (with the exception of gallaz and elroy) so she's clearly talking about the roller skates/blades

            • +1

@tdw: Never heard of Avril Lavigne?

        • @tdw Globe International is a skateboard company that makes Impala and Gallaz roller skates. They also make Obey, X-Large, Almost, Darkstar, and Girl skateboards, among others. Globe International owns World Industries and Blind. They are the brand face of the skateboard scene, and also the roller skate scene. Gallaz roller skates are produced by a skateboard company.
          https://thespinoff.co.nz/society/11-10-2020/how-roller-skati…

      • Yep in my comment I was referring to the rollerskates/rollerblades and not the skateboards.

The song is catchy hence the skater girl reference, apologies for confusion.

  • The skateboards for the price are amazing. Tempted to pick up a blind deck

send her a message: "are these still for sale?" then make an offer for $49.95

  • this has been a non stop deal that started a few months ago. the skateboards they have left aren't very good, you really missed out on the super deals had. I ended up getting 4 premium skateboards for gifts to friends and nephews.
