Yeah good spotting on the extra 7% off. Dont really need 4 of them but what a deal.
A good look at the reviews suggests the build quality just isn't all that flash. I've been puttering around the various lanterns on Amazon over the last week, and after starting with these, concluded that the Sofirn BLF LT1 and the Siege AA would be the way to go (fair bit to a lot more expensive, but likely very much longer lived).
If you do want to do a plastic cheapy, how about the Bunnings 3 pack clicks for $15? Returns of not working/broken out of the box will be a lot easier.

Good find!
Those take AAA so will have terrible runtime.
Yes agree, in general AAA batteries have about 3x less mAh capacity compared to AA. You only need to compare any Eneloop Pro rechargeable
AA 2,550mAh/AAA 950mAh, Varta AA 2,600mAh/AAA 800mAh etc etc. Unless the device is tiny or uses such a small amount of current then there should be no reason to us AAA. For devices such as LED lights, headlamps etc I much prefer AA over AAA as I know it will last longer.
Have you checked out Nitecore LR60? Excellent brand and quality, also acts as a power bank and battery charger
I've looked briefly. For me, the Sofirn is a better deal at that price - weight isn't an issue as we'll be using it for power failures or in a bug out bag if we have a bushfire evacuation.
Can see the case for it if camping, but I'd also look at the BLF LT1 Mini as a cheaper alternative.
Fair call on the AAA runtime - I'd only checked them briefly and misread as AAs (mind you, I won't be going for the everyready or the clicks).
wouldn't a headlight be better (more versatile) than any of them?
Sofirnlight.com has heavily discounted BLF LT1 at the moment. I got one plus a carry case for about $88AUD with free shipping.
Edit: I used code 'WMKP24VA' for an extra 20% off the already sale price, for anyone that's interested.
Unfortunately, the code expired overnight. I'd been dithering about getting an SP10 Pro as well and missed it.
I snoozed. I lost!
There's still a further 10% off code going (maybe for first purchases) - UBK82QA7.
That's still gonna be a pretty good price if you're keen.
@soymeat: Thanks - saw that as well - it ends up being essentially the same price as Amazon with the $29 coupon - I'd go Amazon for ease of returns at this price. And there are a couple of other discounts available on the site, some of which apply to the whole shopping basket and some apply to one item only, and it looks as though sofirn only allows one coupon.
(But also still dithering on the SP10, which isn't on Amazon - getting dangerous close to starting a collection)
@EthicsGradient: The SP10 looks great and seems to be loved by enthusiasts.
The BLF LT1 is my first flashlight/lantern purchase in years, but I don't think I'll be able to resist a few more after reading up on what's the latest/greatest again recently.
Aliexpress Sofirn store having some pretty good deals at moment. If you don’t mind the green BLF LT1 it is only about US$43 after $2 store coupon and $3 aliexpress coupon off. Approximately A$63. Only green colour as Sofirn may have made mistake and put the price with and without battery at the same price for this colour.

The SC32 which is new also pretty good price and those keen on the smaller lantern LT1S with similar coupons about US$37.06 approximately A$54.
