FlexiCar Charged Me But Not Responding to Emails or Approving Application

Is anyone having trouble getting their application approved by Flexicar?

I applied over a week ago and have emailed them multiple times but they are not responding.

It looks like others on Product Review have in fact waited months to be approved.

Does anyone know what's going on with them?

I've annoyed also because they charged me straight away for the member fee and this is eating into my annual membership when I cannot use it.

Have you called them on the phone and asked? If they do not give you membership and you paid via CC then do a chargeback, but then I would expect that you will not be able to join again.

  Yes I tried to call but no one picked up in ages so I hung up.
  
  Given the comments from others and my experience, it seems like an abandoned service offering or very limited service at least.
