      Well, I mean it charges the batteries, so 'garbage' might be a bit strong.

      The LED lights on them aren't related to charge, they just go on for X hours (12 I think), so they're kinda pointless other than to serve as a reminder to take them out cause your batteries "might be full now maybe who knows not me".
      Mine also emits a high pinched whine/whistle/beep noise when plugged in, obviously not that loud, but loud enough to be annoying when 1-2m away.

      I mean, I'm sure there are $1.73 delivered chargers from aliexpress that also have pointless LEDs on them and make unnecessary noise.

      I'm just getting old and grumpy and sick of companies making landfill quality products shakes first at cloud

        Mine is the same, lights do nothing other than stay solid green. Pointless.

    Yeah, that's the basic charger BQ-CC51.

    You want the smart charger BQ-CC55.

    Still a decent deal though considering BQ-CC55 with 4 batteries is about $40.

    Here $40 gets you 12 batteries but with BQ-CC51.

  300 grams of rice, 2 cups of water

  Bring to boil, cover, lowest simmer possible. Then 15 minutes timer

  Rice cooker not needed
