I haven't really had experience yet, but from the reviews I read, the original has more controls, particularly for temperature, so it can cater for a wider range of hair types.
I suppose thicker hair could tolerate higher temperatures.
The touch only has two temperature settings, 165 and 195 degrees.
Not with both but I have the original. Over six years of daily use and it's never skipped a beat. I switched from a GHD that broke after a few years, and if my Cloud Nine broke now, I'd happily replace it with the same model.

Anyone with experience on the Touch vs Original? Everything I’ve read seems to suggest they’re quite similar but I’d be curious if anyone has any hands on experience using both.
