Speedy little 2TB USB SSD at the cheapest ever Amazon price. About twice the speed of a Samsung T7.

Comes with a rubber enclosure and claims to be water resistant, dust resistant and shockproof.

I think it's a USB C to C cable only in the box so you may need a USB A adapter.

  Yep, lost count of the number of head crashes I've had dropping solid state drives…

  (My Sandisk 128GB micro drive always perform better after a trip through the washing machine).

    Well…this explains why I'm getting sub-optimal read/write speeds - I'll put my drive through the washing machine (I'll try cold with 1/2 volume softner)

    It looks to be worth it if you need the speed and don't plan on recycling the ssd once you don't need the "portable factor"

    You could probably get the same quality of an ssd sub $200 but an enclosure would be another $100 more. Plus this one is advertised as water and dust resistant and shockproof (I don't believe it).
