  pretty easy, basically they just help manufacturers and warehouses take over these items including transportation hence they probably can have them for free or next to nothing OR at a little cost (if they are good) to then make profits

One of my friends bought this before when it was on clearance, but said it kept leaving a slimy residue in his mouth.

Reading up on productreview, it seems like he isn't the only one.

What's crazy is that in the productreview replies, Oral-b themselves says the slimyness is due to the toothpaste which "often results in the upper cells of the mucosa coming off in sheets"..
