10

Oz web Rewards is an online shopping rewards program for Australian shoppers and merchants. Simply put, you sign up to Oz web Rewards and shop at any of our listed merchants you receive 5% back in rewards points which can be used to purchase any item from our rewards store. For example if you spend $100 at any of our merchants you would receive 500 points.

All items in the reward store are listed and supplied by the same merchants in the program.

There is no joining fee or ongoing costs and the points never expire. We do not sell your contact information to any third parties and you only receive one Rewards points news bulletin email at the beginning of each month to inform you of your current reward points and specials and events being offered by our merchants (which you can also opt out of). You shop when you want without being constantly harassed with promotion emails coming into you inbox daily.

We now have over 60 merchants offering rewards to our members and more joining everyday. The more members we sign up to the program means more merchants will be enticed to join the program offering greater shopping options, so join today.

A pop up should appear when you visit the site with the promo offer, if it does not work you can visit the promo url direct to soign up at http://www.ozwebrewards.com.au/promo

  • So it is a similar concept to Rewards Central? Do people get x amount of points per dollar spent? I recommend finding a few more stores for the 'Electronics' and 'Games & Entertainment' categories. e.g. stores that sell computers, tablets, mobile phones, Xbox 360 games, PlayStation 3 games etc.

  • I was going to say it's better to go with Starthere/Buckscoop/whatever but I haven't heard of any of the stores on ozwebrewards. The redemptions are a bit strange.

  • The points are calculated on the amount you spend at each merchants (not including shipping)…for example if you spend $100 at any merchant you get 5% back in rewards points, 1 cent = 1 rewards points so you get 500 rewards.

The redemption's are goods offered by the same merchants in the program. Each merchant can list up to 5 rewards at anyone time. Once you have enough reward points you simply select any reward in the store and the merchant who listed the reward will ship it directly to you.

We only launched early this year and are constantly adding new merchants to the program. The only requirement is the merchant must be Australian based and ship from within Australia. As of today we have 49 merchants in the program and around 50 more who have signed up integrating with our tracking system to also be listed on Oz web Rewards.

I hope that answers your questions.

Looking at some of the rewards, seem pretty crap. Not worth it.
    100 points = $1
Eg. Lego cufflinks 2745 points = $27.45, can be had to on ebay for ~$10 or less
Lucky clover necklace 3850 = $38.50 , can be had for $5 here (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Fashion-Rhinestone-Crystal-Four-L…), or even $2.09 if you're not picky with colour.

  • What can u redeem immediately for 500 points???

  • Might want to mention in the title how much 500 points is worth.

  • From the original posting ….."receive 500 rewards points (that is $5 worth of rewards points just for signing up)."

We have a rewards currently starting at 545 points and go up from there. There are currently 175 different reward offerings in the system, with merchants adding and changing products regularly.

    • OzwebAu (Owner of Oz Web Rewards):

Please allow people to search for Rewards from "0 Points to 600 Points".

There is no way to search for number of points needed to get a Reward!

      • Thank you for the feedback….

It is something we plan on implementing in the future, ie enable sorting rewards by alphabet, Price: low to high, and list rewards you can afford with your current reward points.

  • The rewards store is pretty hard to navigate. ^^" I'm not really seeing any stuff I'd like…(Coles gift cards etc) 545 points gets you a Rapstrap. Uhhhh.

Well anyway, I don't see myself shopping with these merchants but someone else might find it useful. ^^"

    • All products in our reward Store are supplied by the same merchants in the program, and since Coles are not part of our program, we do not list Gift cards for them.

You will find many merchants do list Gift Vouchers that can be used on their website if the reward offerings they offer do not suit. Most merchants would also be receptive to requests to list other products from their site….simply just contact to ask them to do so as they have the ability to change the products at anytime.
