Mod — Amazon is now out of stock. However other 3rd party sellers on Amazon are stilling selling this item but at different price point/delivery cost.

Extraordinary headphones for the price (and it looks good too!).

The sound is a little bassy but the quality of the sound and comfort is superior than the following brand models (ranging from $100++):

Audio-technica: ATH-ES7 ($145)
Sennheiser: HD238 ($115)
Beats: SoloHD ($299 @ JB)
Sennheisser: HD238 ($238 @ JB)

Edit@2:03pm: Looks like Amazon is all out of stock now. There are other sellers however some don't ship internationally and for those that do, the shipping price may be slightly higher.

Edit@2:33pm: Thanks to bolt_krank, the following sellers still sell them but for significantly more then Amazon:

Quickshipparts - $57 (inc postage)
Blue Grass - $64.50 (inc postage)

Not sure if I should mark this as expired so I reported this thread to a mod to make the final decision.

  • Shipping is AUD $11.55, bringing the total to $43.13

EDIT: should read the title before I post :(

    • A neg? Really?

Btw, that 1st link above is an impressive research summary.

    11 left now :)

  • OP, How would you rate this against the Seinnheiser HD418 we had at ~$33. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/70832

    • The Panasonic would definitely be a lot better when compared with the HD418 (and even the Sennheiser HD428) both in regards to sound and comfort quality. However, the HD418 has a closed back design hence will prevent noise leak and outside noise in general (good for public transport) but on the other hand will 'clamp' your head causing discomfort.

    • After reading the review in the first link (search for 'c34') it directly compares it to the HD428

"…the Panasonics have airy, well-balanced treble but the natural clarity is only on par with the Sennheiser HD428, which is still less warm and generally more transparent than the Panasonics."

  • I get a "can't ship to that address" error. Anyone else get this ?

  • We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.

    • That's because Amazon (the original seller) is now completely out of stock and is now relying on it's merchants.

Use the link above for other sellers selling the item.

Just from looking, I can see the following that ships internationally:

      Quickshipparts (US$29)
Blue Grass batteries and Electronics (US$36)

You'll have to calculate the shipping out checkout.

        To Sydney:

        Quickshipparts - $57 (inc postage)
Blue Grass - $64.50 (inc postage)

  • Thanks, managed to get one before they sold out

  • nvm
