RMx is better, slightly, the warranty is the same.
RMx has all Jap capacitors and the fan bearing is differentOh sorry, I thought this was the RM not RMx. Thanks for the clarification!

Wish I knew what the power requirements for a 4070 or 4080 is going to be. Surely my RM750X won't cut it, but do I need more than RM850X? I guess I'll wait :/
Got a 850 for that reason
yeah I am afraid 4000 series will require more than 850X, especially combined with potential future updates on the new gen CPU's
This is a good price, I paid $203.55 back in April.
Same here, I paid $199 and would pay the same again if i had to buy a psu. This is an excellent price and i highly recommended it. Very high build quality.
This PSU is phenomenal. Top tier performance but the best part is the fan rarely has to kick in and when it does you can't hear it. It's essentially silent operation. Only complaint would be the cable capacitors are large and can make it awkward to route the 24 pin and 8 pin CPU cables. You can buy flat individually sleeved cable kits from Corsair to replace them though.
I picked up a RM750 (white) myself…saved about $30 according to Staticice.
