Mainly for swimmers, good price and less-frequently discounted. Comes with a decent set of ear and nose plugs which actually create a clearer sound underwater with the OpenSwim headset. These have just recently come back into stock after a few months of unavailability.

Also features an EQ toggle to switch between open-air listening and under-water listening, the bass is stripped back to accomodate the added natural bass from the seal when underwater or using earplugs.

Note for audiobook/podcast listeners, this is MP3 only, no bluetooth connectivity, there is also no fast-forward or re-tracing function so you have to skip a whole track forward or backward which is good for songs, but less so for audiobook chapters.

Not sure of expiry date sorry.

Good for open sea with Jaws theme

  • also good in the shower/bathtubs just pretend you are oceandiving

Didn't know these were a thing for underwater!

  • If they are like the previous version, they are great for listening to an audio book, crystal clear. I also ran with mine. I would of clocked over 200+hours in the sea and they still held up and no issues charging. Only failed when I dropped them onto tiles. 😬

    • I believe these are identical in spec to the previous Xtrainerz, just with the updated branding and possibly firmware update.

      • I wrote to shokz earlier in the year and asked and they said the only difference was branding.

I finally got a pair last week, they work amazingly well for my use which is swimming laps while listening to an audiobook. There are no fine grain controls, so I split my book into files the length (time) of my swim. Playback ordering is determined by order added to device, so dragging and dropping an album may not play in the order you expect.
