it does????
it does!
thats the best news ive heard - I'm missing out!
Yeah it was randomly unlocked in a firmware update several months ago, with zero fanfare from Nintendo. Made my Bluetooth dongle almost completely pointless after that. I say almost, because the dongle does still let me listen to both mobile phone and switch at the same time, but I very rarely bother now.
I can confirm this. I’ve been using my AirPods Pro whenever I’m on handheld mode on the OLED console
supports bluetooth headphones natively
OMG !!!
Absolute waste of money. Switch has supported Bluetooth audio natively since Sept 2021.
DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON THIS
Pointless as other have mentioned
Not quite completely useless as you can only connect 2 controllers with Bluetooth audio and a pair of joycons count as 2 controllers.

This is useful if you use Aptx headphones and want low latency. Switch only supports SBC Bluetooth codec which generally has about 200 -300 ms of delay.
I own this and it works well if you're playing from a distance on a TV. I personally can't stand the audio delay on native Switch but if you don't mind this isn't worth it.
It's Currently unavailable. Need to mark it as OOS
kinda pointless now the switch supports bluetooth headphones natively
