    • Should be cheaper. It's been like $29 before when I bought it.

      • there is another day to go yet for prime day might drop even more its been done before on amazon.

warioware is really dissapointing compared to the old ones.

    • Crap is it that disappointing? Should have not bought it then!!!

  • Almost bought dread but I remember it being in the $30-$40 range, I'll wait for that again since I haven't even loaded up zelda yet.

    • +1

I almost bought dread, but then I thought I should just play Hades again

Yeah, don't play Paper Mario. Especially after the gritty realism and adult themes of Super Mario Odyssey.

      • Lol

      • +4

That's not really what I was trying to convey. The pacing of Paper Mario (e.g. the conversations with various characters in the game) is very slow, and the battle mechanisms are very repetitive and predictable. Olivia literally talks to you like you're a kid. I'm still enjoying it somewhat, but it's a far cry visually and mechanically from other Mario games.

This is just my experience, not sure why everyone is piling on.

        • Don't worry about them, once the neg train starts it has a momentum of its own.

I can see your point. It's aimed at a different player. Paper Mario is dumbed down alot more.

I'm keen to play Bowsers Fury, but $50 still seems a bit much. Hoping the price of Kirby comes down at some as well (currently $60).

    • Bowsers Fury is worth $50 imho

      • Super Mario 3D World is the best family 4-player co-op platform game ever made, by a solid lead, and we (me and my kids) have played loads of them (the Raymans, NSMB Wii, NSMB U and so on).

Not sure if Bowser's Fury is worth re-buying it for Switch.

I replayed the entire game and LOVED IT. Can’t wait until my kid is old enough.

          Try sackboy

I still remember when I passed on it at $35 when it first came out. Can't bring myself to get it now at these prices.

    • I grabbed it when it was $39 and I really enjoyed the game (didn't get a chance to play it on the Wii), especially Bowser's Fury. I'd hold out until it's on sale again.

    • Both Kirby's are worth $60

Is this the lowest these games will likely be over the sale or are they just matching catch?

    • +1

Amazon tends to price match only, other competitors however may go even lower than catch and hence, amazon has the chance to go even lower, not an impossibility if your time horizon is long enough. Even so, these prices are very good for what the usual sell price is, comparatively speaking, and are rarely at these prices for long, and with the 14% (16% with Max) cashback later today (at 4pm-6pm), these prices would be among the lowest/matching the previous lows.

      • It's a bit of a risk waiting for 4-6pm though. It might be sold out by then.

        • agreed, if you want the games, these prices alone are mighty fine based on all their respective price histories even without the cashback. but based on OPs comment, it seems like they would be willing to risk missing out to catch the lows if possible.

      • Hmmm, I want Metroid but it's recent sale at Target for $34 had me hoping it might drop a bit more.

I might just go for Skyward Sword and Metroid, take off WarioWare at that price. Thanks for the clarification, hopefully some better Switch deals come through later.

For some reason I had a $20 credit on my account so I got Zelda for $19 delivered. Can't complain about that.

  • JB price matched via the chat on the Mario 3D + Bowser's Fury.

    • Via the chat? Where would I go to get it price matched like that?

      • To the chat, by the sounds of things. /unhelpful

      • +1

I know this won't be of any use now, but there is a chat overlay on their website, and the website does also specifically say that they will price match and to use the chat feature to do so.

  • Damn, I'm dreading making the decision on Metroid…

  • Got Metroid. Returning to Amazon. Just way way too hard and stressful for me. Gonna play Yoku Island Express. :-)
