I bought the Ultra and only applied the $500 bonus. Did not use the trade in coupon.
Don't mind being charged the $15 trade-in value for not sending the phone in, but low-key would be crying if they charged me the $500 for using the gift card.
Is it better to cancel the trade-in altogether?

Unfortunately, I have no Idea and I am wondering the exact thing. Is the bonus $500 credit custom made for you or generic. Since you have already used the code, try and add an s22 ultra to a empty cart and see if you can apply the code again. Let me know.

I am worried about squaretrade charging me another $500 for using the bonus coupon if iI don't send in my old phone (seeing as they have my CC details on file).

Got confirmation email and the agreed trade-in amount as a gift card attachment (credit card looking number with a PIN).
This same email had a separate link further down the page to click on for the $500 gift card which was then sent in a separate email as a unique coupon.
Yes, page 7 has some comments about our issue but unconfirmed.
