【2K 60fps+1080P 30fps Dual Dash Cam】A129 Plus Duo is the upgraded version of A129 Duo dash cam, front and rear camera shots road ahead at 2560*1440P 60fps and road behind at 1080P 30fps at the same time. Much more details can be easily captured including license plate and signpost. 140° wide angle is enough to cover the whole road and will not distort the image.
【Super Night Vision】Both front and rear camera is loaded with super high quality Sony Sensor which has better night vision than any other sensors. WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) technology, provide clearer view than most other car cameras in low-light conditions for nighttime driving.
【Built-in Wi-Fi & GPS】By connecting to wifi, you can view real-time video, transmit video, etc. on your phone at any time.. With GPS logger, dash camera can log the current speed and GPS location, also automatically correct the time by synchronizing with the satellite. Timestamp can be embedded in the video. Real-time speed would display on car camera screen in KM/H or MP/H.
【Parking Mode】Parking mode will be able to record events leading up to an impact / motion that has been detected. This is an excellent feature and completes a true parking mode as there can be a lot of vital information in the lead-up to whatever triggered recording. To use parking mode, it is better to buy VIOFO HK3 hardwire cable separately.
【Ideal Choice of Dash Cam】G-sensor, motion detection, auto start/stop, loop recording, time lapse recording, built-in microphone & speaker, mobile APP, support up to 256GB SD card, support optional CPL and Bluetooth remote control, one year warranty. A129 Plus Duo is the ideal choice for your dashcam.

$99 was an anomaly or price error IMO.
It was Amazon lighting deal. Claimed very quickly.
Anyone have a good parking mode battery recommendation to pair with this?
How's parking mode with this?
It seems you need to buy a seperate hardwire cable for that feature:
"To use parking mode, it is better to buy VIOFO HK3 hardwire cable separately."
I have a few of these cameras. Yes you need a hardwire kit, you also need 2x fuse tap to make life easier.
1 fuse tap goes into an always-on fuse (when the car is off) which enables park mode.
1 fuse tap goes into an ignition-on fuse (when the car is on) which triggers normal mode. You set park mode to have a maximum duration, so that when parked at home for 5 days it wont drain your battery. Typically I set this to whatever time you ordinarily park at the shops - maybe 2hrs. If this is your work vehicle and you are parked near a train station for 8hrs, then set it to suit. The daily commute will keep your car battery topped up.
With the hardwire kit you can also set the camera to turn off when the battery drops below a certain voltage (11.8V, 12V, 12.2V, 12.4V)
Guys about the Parking Mode, does this dashcam have the ability to only record when there is motion and/or a trigger to the g-sensor? I understand parking mode requires hardwired installation. But what if I connect this to a 20,000mAH battery bank? Will it be able to last an entire day? I have done this before with another dashcam but it has to record continuously. Battery life of that setup is about 7-8 hours on a 10,000mAH battery bank.
From what I've read there's about half a dozen different parking mode recording options. So, to answer all of your questions: it depends on which one you use and what settings you turn on.
Yes but wasn't that reliable and better to use continuous recording which will be time lapse.
Same for this model 10000mah battery is about 7.5 hr, will not be in parking mode so you get the full frame rate recording.
Anyone can comment how hard it is to install in a Prado?
Is the cable for the rear camera long enough for a floor (under mat) run?Measure the distance in your car, and then compare with the cable listed in the entry.
I doubt it. Much easier through the roof anyway. I did my car (not prado) it was fairly easy.
Dunno how big Prado is, Rav 4 cruiser it was enough to run from mirror to the right along the driver side to the back to middle of rear window with some left over ( can't remember how much). Run straight to middle will be better but sunroof was on the way and couldn't manage to chase it around as something was blocking it, I didn't remove the trim. Just used a wall snake.
Not withstanding that this is a great find … but is this prime day thing just yet another hype??
I mean this dash cam was $99 less than 2 months ago without any super awesome prime day deal!
