$50 off Any Nikon DSLR, Zoom Lens or Nikon 1 Compact System Camera

100
digital50

First post, please be nice. Found this coupon at the Nikon stand at the Digital Show over the weekend. In the grand scheme of things, $50 off is not a lot for something with a $1000 price tag. But if you are after a lower end zoom lens, this might work out cheaper than most places.

Eg. The cheapest zoom lens on the website is the AFS 18-55mm f3.5 - 5.6 G VR $149.95 minus $50. That's $99.95 if you pick it up from the store.

There are other zoom lens as well.

Best of all, it's Aussie stocks.

Edit: Flat Rate Delivery Charge: $9.95 Australia Wide (including insurance).

Edit2: the code only works for zoom lens, not the prime.

    • I had a legitimate LOL moment because of that comment. Thanks, Fred!

u can use the same code for Pentax, canon and nikon dslr cameras and also sigma and tamron lens too not just nikon lens

  • this place is way overpriced compared to DWI and eglobal

  • Seems like the code only works for selected lenses.

I'm trying to score a 35mm 1.8G for $230 (down from $280) but the code won't be accepted for this lens. Have tried to add in a few others then the code and remove the lenses but doesn't work.

Anyone else having any luck with this lense?

    • I believe it's for zoom lenses only as per the title. The 35mm is a prime :)

It only works for zoom lens (like 18-105mm, 55-200mm, etc.). Doesn't work for prime lens.

      • It worked on the Nikon 50mm f1.8G brought it from $300 down to $250.

    Price 149.95
    -$50

    Total price $104.95

    What?

  • Brings the Nikon 50mm f1.8G to eBay prices with the benefit of getting tax back if you leave the country.

    • +1

invoice needs to be over $300 for gst tax back.

      • Whoops was thinking pre-discount prices (albeit still needed to chuck something cheap in)
I'd say chuck a filter in but they be expensive here….

    • But then dont you need to pay it back on re entry?

  • Lens-wise, it's pretty much only worth it to use the code for the 18-55 and 18-105. The price for the 18-105 is pretty nice after the discount.

    • Doesnt work for primes for me. How did you manage the 50mm 1.8g?

      • It did for me…. I just added to cart and then applied the code…

        Edit:
Just tried it again, it doesn't work for me anymore… Damn should've just bought it when I had the chance.

  • As far as I know there is no difference between local stock or over seas in terms of warranty for lenses (Nikon and Sigma lenses come with international warranty).
On the $50 discount though, they have Nikon D5100 for $750 (plus shipping), I bought Nikon D5100 body from JB HiFi past Saturday for $570 just by mentioning It's $520 online.
Also considering all the warranties are back to base there is no difference in that sense between getting it from shop or online.
I might be wrong though, not an expert.
