It's not a Bluetooth dongle. It allows you to turn the speakers on and off, control their volume and let's you put in headphones while turning off the speakers

No, these are bottom of the barrel logitech shite, while the Z623 are well reviewed and are considerably better in every possible way, which of course they should be when they are considerably more expensive.
Buy a pair of used Z623 for 60 or 70 bux an they will be way better in quality even if they are banged up a bit.
Used z623 are like 10x better than these. These suck, they make do if you just wanna watch videos or something. Bad for music.

Like the others say, go for used Z623. or Z523 (rarer).
I managed to get a Z523 for free recently and passed on my used Logitech speakers to my brother (better than these). While not Z623, they would be a huge improvement on the posted ones.
I had a chance to get that on sale at an OW price beat Logitechshop but bought something else for a mate. What a regret.
I still have the Z-5500s for my TV speakers.

Not enough for a main TV, but have one here that I've used for my kitchen TV for a few years. Huge improvement over the TV speakers.
got mine for $19 6 years ago. Starting to have some issues only recently.
Same, mine lasted about 5 years then the top speakers failed. I won't complain for $19.
wonder if I should pick this up to replace one I have but the ozb in me won't let me do it for $39…

Got the old LS21 version of these a long time ago. The sound is nothing spectacular. Wonder how these newer release Z213 compare? Though would recommend getting something with better sound.
The Z213 was released in July 2014 as a replacement for the older LS21 2.1 speakers released in 2008.
That advertised but not advertised bluetooth module in the first pic is a tad misleading imo but im amazed this product still exists, I swear it was around in the 2010s
