  • Any deals on loop pedals?

  • My two chorus pedals both don't work, I thought the first one suffered from a catastrophic copy variation issue, but the second one also?

No replies after some early, delayed troubleshooting, so they're paperweights now.

  • Got my $20 Blues Driver today!

    • Wow that was quick. How is it?

      • Fastway/Aramex don’t forget around, that’s for sure

I’ve only had about 5 mins with it so far but it feels well built and there’s no hum or anything I can detect.

There’s quite a range of sounds with the gain/volume/tone and the switch (which adds a lot of bass)

        • Awesome… I ordered one too, but hasn’t arrived yet. Can’t believe you can get a pedal delivered for $20!

          • @Worf: Interesting, where are you? Mine went Mel>Syd>Canberra overnight and delivered today

Edit. Oh durr, you’re probably in deep space somewhere on a mission for Starfleet. Aramex are good but I’m not sure they have warp capable vessels yet

            • @Occas: Lols, on the Gold Coast!
Have you tried any of their other pedals?

    • I bought a bunch of pedals from donner and no complains so far - although I didn't use them to any great degree - at the price point they are similar to the Joyo, etc. lines of cheap pedals out of China - $30 range is a very good price for these considering build quality and assuming you don't get a bad one they are pretty damn good toys…. I think I bought one of everything which came up for a good price on ozbargain!!

    • I have a circa 80s ibanez tube screamer, with the rare chip that SRV used.

      • They are worth a fair bit these days. Have you tried A/B-ing it with different models? I did this with a mate's 80s 808 and my 808 hand-wired and a TS9 mini… both of which were pretty close to the original

  • Mine regrettably started to corrode, as we were near salt water.

    Not sure what A/B-ing means?

    • A/B-ing is where you compare 2 pedals (or it could be guitars, amps, etc) side by side, keep everything the same except change from one pedal to the other. Adjust settings/knobs to the same position. This way you can hear any difference between the 2.
      What part of it corroded?
