One of your best 🤣
Beware, the wiring on these is extremely fragile at the USB plug connection. I buy a cheaper version of these on AliExpress or eBay and buy a new one each time the wiring at the USB plug breaks. The wiring is a very thin 4 strand ribbon cable and it's common to most jackets/vests like this one.
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/185481739670?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mk…If you're going to spend over $100 I would buy a Milwaukee/Bosch etc heated vest at Bunnings which have far more robust wiring and battery systems.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/search/products?q=Heated%20vest&…Great advice. Have had the same issue.
Have you tried these? Portwest is a workwear brand.
Even that jacket seems no deal compared to ones on the web
TotalTools has some quality heated jackets and vests here

I do feel a bit cold when driving through tunnels.
when i saw 'heated' i think along the same lines as 'heated throw' or 'heated blanket' and questioned how it was even possible (legally or practically) for a jacket to have inbuilt heating wires
They certainly do have jackets available with built-in electric heating.
I keep seeing adverts for the milwaukee one. Here's a usb one on amazon that's so cheap i'd be concerned https://amzn.asia/d/4YG4Lyx
—edit: this 'ultrasonic' one does also appear to be electrically heated:
"The S547 also has three heat settings controlled by a button at the chest and includes a rechargeable battery that offers 3-10 hours of heat. "Still stumps me as to how the word 'ultrasonic' relates to anything at all though.
oh dayum very interesting. thought it was just a standard down jacket
Synthetic insulation.
This technology was around for the last 40 years at least.
I don't mind heated clothing/etc. but you can't do it with some heated blankets (e.g. Kmart sells a heated blanket with instructions not to wash it, probs bc of whatever wiring they use, can't disconnect it from the plug).
Cheers, I copped it cause I've been looking for one.
Can stack with "welcomecode" for $10 off, therefore making shipping only $2.I need to learn to read..
e: sizing guide as well for anyone else.Milwaukee and then a down jacket over the top to keep the heat in is the way to go.
Milwaukee vests available in Australia
https://www.milwaukeetool.com.au/work-wear/heated-gear/heate…A good comparison video on Youtube
