  • For anyone thinking to purchase these. I would highly recommend them, they're amazing. The only downside I've found is when I'm exercising, this is only when doing weights they kinda slide. Not a huge issue nor is it that they come off, just worth mentioning. Have used these when jogging and have no issues.

  • general question, with all the senheiser deals going on on prime, would this be a better option? I use my mainly with a wired connection to my fender mustang micro and some wireless high def music listening

    • +2

If you are comparing to Sennheiser 458BT, they are more bassy and general consumer targetted sound. They have better passive noise cancellation and also have active noise cancellation.

M20XBT has a better comfortable fit and the sound is neutral with a very slight emphasis on bass.

cheers for that, for me the flatter the better when it comes to response curves, so this might do the trick nicely.
        thank you for your response

  • Would this be a good option for music production?

    • That's the main use case. Wireless is added convenience. I did not observe any difference in sound wireless or wired.

  • You wouldn't want to pay more than $30 for the M20X when it comes to audio quality, so why does slapping bluetooth onto it make this a good deal?

    • What is a good set for around $100 to use with an amp that doesn’t have Bluetooth please? I would like a long cord.

      • Closed back and over ear? AKG K361 should be below that, maybe the 1More Triple Driver Over-Ear if the 1More store on Amazon AU do another big deal.

That's about it really, most of the high value stuff tends to be $150-$250. If you wanted to angle for an IEM, that price point gets you a much higher quality option.

        • No idea why reply above showing as unpublished. Anyway, thanks for the tips. $140 plus delivery and option 2 currently a lot more. These might do me for $40 delivered - Neewer Studio Monitor Headphones - Dynamic Rotatable Headsets with 40mm Loudhailer Driver, 3 Meters Straight and Coiled Cable

          • @chrisharry53: Sorry, I meant K361 should be below that for Prime Day. Below that is the Takstar Pro 82 from the TakstarAudio store on AliExpress (~$70 with coupons and cashbacks).

IEM wise you've got the Moondrop Chu for $30, the Moondrop Aria for $70, the Timeless Dioko for $130, all via AliExpress sales (competing sale with Prime Day).

If you can handle a flange tip fit, you've also got the Etymotic ER2XR for about $120 on Amazon, which is tonally more solid than the Dioko, but not as technically proficient.

The Aria and K361 should be good landing points.

@jasswolf: Thanks again. Not after IEM.

You didn’t comment on Neewer. I guess I can gather why 😀.

              • @chrisharry53: Cable for Takstar not long enough to go from amp to my spot on the lounge :)

                • @chrisharry53: Extensions are a thing, but I would get the K361 in a few days if it's being sold for $89 ish, or the 1More in $120 territory.

                  • +1

@jasswolf: Thanks again. Need to have Amazon Prime membership?

                    • +1

@chrisharry53: It varies. Prime is available on trial or as a monthly subscription regardless.

                      • @jasswolf: $93 for K361 after 16% cashback with ANZ Max. Much better than K72 for $49 after cashback?

                        • @chrisharry53: Yes, a lot better.

Hint: so is the K371 for $135.

Hint 2: the K75 is flaming garbage.

                          • @jasswolf: Thanks again.

                            • @chrisharry53: I bought the K361. Would have felt guilty after all your advice if I didn’t 🤣🤣🤣.

Thanks again as I do have hearing issues and these should be VG for me rather than IME.

  • Can these be worn in gym?

    • See Mr Turtle comment in this post

      • My biggest concern is sweat 😰 I do have xm4 but never worn them to gym

  • how many mics on this headphone? And how's the call quality?

  • Can anyone vouch for the Low latency mode or these headphones in general. Im thinking of buying these to watch movies at my computer but don't want to buy it and find out that there's a slight delay between audio and video.

    • Even with out enabling the low latency mode, there is no delay in audio when playing videos. You can safely buy
